In addition to your statutory rights, Abode interiors goods are guaranteed against defects in materials or faulty workmanship for 12 months from the time they are delivered. In the event that any goods are found to be defective within the guarantee period, or if goods are damaged in transit, then abode interiors will cover any costs incurred as a result of the need to exchange goods including transportation costs.
Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive which can be found at EU Distance Selling Directive.
The customer has the right to return goods to abode interiors provided notification of your intention to return the goods is provided in writing within 14 working-days of delivery.
Should the customer wish to return the goods within the 14 working-day cooling-off period then it is the customers’ responsibility to return the item to the abode interiors warehouse in a reasonable condition and at their own cost.
Abode interiors recognise that, for many customers, it will not be possible to arrange transport themselves and in these cases our staff can arrange collection during our business hours, if requested. However, Abode Interiors can only arrange collection of items which are in their original packaging. Where abode interiors is required to arrange the collection, then a collection charge will be levied. This amount is to cover the cost of collecting the items.
Refunds can only be processed to the original credit or debit card used at the time of purchase.
